Through his Grumpy Gardener brand, any returned or imperfectly packaged food is donated to "Animals in Need," a local charity caring for wild birds, hedgehogs, and even cats and dogs.

The company actively trades with many other Northampton businesses, purchasing stock locally and working with a Northampton-based fulfilment centre, contributing around £500,000 annually to the local economy.
