Local Success Story

PropConnect: Northamptonshire's Premier Networking Event for Construction Professionals launches!

The construction industry in Northamptonshire has a new reason to celebrate. PropConnect, the brainchild of two local business owners, has quickly established itself as the go-to networking event for construction professionals in the county.

Launched by Parm Bhangal of Bhangals Construction Consultants and Matthew Abraham of FormFive, PropConnect arose from a shared vision to create a local platform for industry connections. The inaugural event, held on October 3, 2024, at Bhangals Construction Consultants' newly refurbished Grange Park offices in Northampton, was a resounding success, attracting over 80 guests from various construction-related fields.

The event brought together various professionals, including structural engineers, architects, quantity surveyors, contractors, and modular build specialists. Attendees enjoyed speeches by the founders, a complimentary bar and buffet, and three hours of valuable networking opportunities.

Matthew Abraham highlighted the event's purpose: "We aimed to unite Northamptonshire businesses, both large and small, from various related disciplines. Our goal is to foster growth in the property and construction sector by facilitating local connections and introducing professionals who might not otherwise meet."

Parm Bhangal emphasized the industry's collaborative nature: "Construction thrives on collaboration and communication. Seeing the room filled with incredible businesses from all areas of construction and property, engaging in meaningful conversations, was truly inspiring. We're proud of PropConnect's impact and hope to see continued growth and benefits for all participants."

The overwhelming success of the first event has cemented PropConnect's position as a quarterly fixture in the Northamptonshire construction calendar. As the network expands, it promises to become an invaluable resource for industry professionals looking to build relationships, share knowledge, and drive innovation in the local construction sector.

For those interested in joining this thriving community, the next PropConnect event is scheduled for early 2025. To learn more and stay updated on future gatherings, visit prop-connect.co.uk.

PropConnect's successful launch demonstrates the power of local initiative in fostering industry growth and collaboration. As it continues to evolve, it's set to play a crucial role in shaping the future of Northamptonshire's construction landscape.
